Learning English in 3 months? I guess that depends how much you know now and how much you need to know, but 3 months is not a long time to “learn English”!
My best advice is for you to read and listen to as much English as you possibly can every day. All day long, if you can. Lessons with a teacher will also help you get to your goal much faster. If you are interested in taking lessons with me, please contact me.

Hi Niranjan, I’m sorry but it would be impossible to send email videos out to viewers directly. It would take far too much bandwidth. But you can access all of my videos here just as easily! Good luck!

  6. Alexander Kojevnkov says:

    Thank you Syl,
In spite of my age (64) and I am Russian (unfortunately)
I am getting very good lessons these days.

  7. Alexander Kojevnkov says:

    There is a mistake – I am a Russian
    not just one among them

  8. Alexander Kojevnkov says:

    Dear Syl,
let me share one comment for your idiom “kick the bucket”
I think it came from Hollywood’ movie “This is crazy, crazy, crazy world” where one criminal guy
kicked a bucket before he died. Am I right?

    • Syl says:

I’m sorry. I don’t know the exact origin of the idiom. However, I would guess that it is much, much older than any Hollywood movie. I’d bet that the movie was making a joke from the expression.

      • Alexander Kojevnkov says:

Syl, I think you dug it out from a deep of your wisdom and excellent background, so I guess you are very interesting person. All my life I would like to have friends like you, not ordinary (unusual) people. At present, I have one in UK, another in Texas and next one in Tashkent (Uzbekistan). I have been in these countries. Unfortunately, I did find no one in Russia like them. I am not a proud, and I am interested in he who is wiser then me. Today, besides English learning, I seek he who is not futile or carefree about his future, I mean he knows where he is going to… in spiritual, not religious sense. Shortly speaking, I want to “dig out” his (her) who seriously seeks Life (without ceasing)…. Those, who believe in inevitable death and burial – let them go to a cemetery. They are not my interest, I try to find really Living Folk and there is not a mystical way….
        My E-mail is:
        Sincerely yours,
